for Working in the Round

Suitable for toe up socks, glasses cases, and similar knitted projects worked in the round

Demonstrated on 3 flex needles, but adaptable to double points or magic loop and other methods of knitting in the round 

This No Fuss Seamless cast on is a simplied version of casts ons that employ various ways of creating a seamless join for toe up socks and other similar projects.  While casting on to two needles other casts ons might use a tail, figure 8 wraps and knitting through the back loop to prevent twisted stitches.  This cast on circumvents the need for these techniques.  And although it begins with a slip knot to stablize the yarn, the knot is discarded as you work the first round.
